The honest read: if all you want is one small bucket for a two day stopover, Airalo and Saily undercut our daily rate by about twenty cents and we will not pretend otherwise. From three days on, the arithmetic flips, our 1 GB refreshes every single morning, so a week costs $24.99 and carries seven full gigabytes, where a bucket plan needs rebuying every time it empties. And on any trip where the network matters more than twenty cents, you know before paying that you are on Chunghwa.

If you know your usage is light, rivals sell small fixed buckets for less: Airalo lists Taiwan from $4.00 for its smallest plan as of August 2026.
