Signal can dip a little when you walk deep into the Cappadocia valleys or down into a canyon. It usually comes right back when you climb out. A quick tip: save your map of the area offline before you set out, so a short drop never leaves you lost.

Turkey is a big country with a lot of high ground. In the eastern mountains, on remote stretches of highway, and on quiet hiking trails, both networks can thin out. You may see slower data or a brief drop in spots far from any town.
