Mobile App Terms

These terms apply to the MegaEsim app for iOS and Android. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply. Where the app terms and the main Terms differ on something app specific, these apply. The app is published by Soha Trading LLC-FZ, Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

We grant you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for buying and managing eSIM plans. You may not copy, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code or any eSIM profile from the app, except to the extent the law expressly allows it regardless of what a contract says.

The eSIM plans you buy in the app provide mobile data only. • You cannot call emergency services (112, 911, 999 and equivalents) over a MegaEsim plan. Always keep a device or SIM that can reach emergency services. • There is no phone number, so you cannot receive SMS verification codes on a MegaEsim plan. This is the same as on the website, and it is important enough to repeat here.

• Camera — only to scan an eSIM QR code during setup. We never open the camera at any other time, and we never store or transmit photos or video. • Push notifications — order confirmations, eSIM delivery, and reminders such as low data or an expiring plan. You can turn these off in your device settings at any time and the app keeps working. The app does not request contacts, precise location, microphone, photo library or health data. It does not use advertising identifiers and does not track you across other apps or websites.

You can delete your MegaEsim account and its personal data directly in the app: open Profile, then Delete Account. You can also delete your account on the website in your account settings, or by emailing support@megaesim.com. All three routes do the same thing. Deletion removes your name, email, login, preferences and support history. We keep order and invoice records for the 7 years that tax law requires and use them for nothing else. If you hold wallet credit, please use it or contact us first, because deletion closes the wallet.

eSIM plans are a real world service used outside the app, delivered by mobile networks at your destination. Payment is taken by Stripe, and Apple and Google are not parties to that sale. All the usual terms apply to an app purchase: prices include applicable taxes, provisioning is automatic and immediate, and your refund rights are exactly the same as on the website. We release updates to fix problems and add features. Some updates are required for the app to keep working with our systems and with current mobile operating systems. We support current and recent versions of iOS and Android. Very old operating systems may stop being supported, and we will say so in the release notes rather than let the app fail quietly. We do not guarantee the app is available without interruption. Where we plan maintenance that will affect you, we say so in advance.

Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from, Apple's App Store or Google Play. If anything in these terms conflicts with the store's own terms, the store's terms apply to the extent of that conflict. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app, for its content, or for support: those are ours, and you should contact support@megaesim.com for any problem.
